Midgard, a misty woodland region, boasts a population of around ten thousand. Yosabergh, the capital region of the Unity government of Pangaea, boasts a population of around twenty to twenty-five million per district. The major districts within the capital region include, for example: New Sora, the leafy green governmental district; Old Sora, the historic old capital district; Mistpeak, the site of Vermette Arena, just outside of Old Sora; Yossy Ven, site of the once legendary salt flats, abuts the Mistpeak; Yosabergh Bay, the premiere business and shopping district, with the Bay and mind-bending skyscrapers running through it; Gold Meadow, an ultra-wealthy suburban district; Ummān Manda, the locus of ultra-exclusive places such as the Calf Club; OST, where many Gilds, UVNs, and other Civilian agencies have headquarters; JFS has an unsavory reputation; Newo, where tabloids such as The Tail Tattle are headquartered; and Middlebrow. 

Per the Axiomatic Benyus Rights of Unity Year 4.53b-314, nothing artificially created may directly touch the natural ground, unless absolutely necessary. For example, the bearing columns of skyscrapers are allowed to touch the ground; this is deemed an engineering necessity. This Axiomatic law ensures low levels of soil loss, and healthy yields from bio-mimicked fields and animal grazing grounds. To a visitor’s eyes, the unbroken expanse of Pangaean wilderness, which stretches across all the lands, even into the urban regions, may appear to be unkempt meadows and woods populated by free-roaming beasts, when many are in fact carefully tended and highly productive agricultural centers. This system guarantees a healthy and steady food supply for the roughly thirteen billion citizens and citizen-candidates of Pangaea. In keeping with this regulation, most travel is by air or by raised highways and walkways, for example. The multiway travel systems that criss-cross Pangaea mostly never touch the ground. 

1. ___ Protagonist’s sibling (an investigator for the UCCI in the New Sora region of Yosabergh) 

Unity Currency Crimes Investigators is a task force of the Unity government. UCCIs investigate, for example, wealth vanishment and other schemes to hide money, in criminal attempts to avoid the wealth status that triggers automatic entry into the battlefield of play in the Billionaires Games (BIG).

1. ___ BIG analyst (part of the BIG ecosystem of announcers and commentators) 

Note that “BIG” in this case refers to the Billionaires Games. BIG is an abbreviation or acronym for the Games, which are the most popular games on Pangaea, and BIG news and related programs are popular throughout Pangaea. Wealth up to but not including one billion Unity (U1B) currency may be accumulated. Attaining one billion (U1B) in Unity wealth triggers automatic entry into the battlefield of play in the Billionaires Games (BIG). 

1. ___ Friend of Protagonist’s sibling (a member of the Crimson Court)

The Unity Supreme Red Court of Pangaea, originally founded by the Mother under her appointed presidency in the Year 49,125. The Mother created its tenets and formal colors as red and black to match hers. The Mother’s modernized version of the ancient Hammurabian “an eye for an eye” code is called the Gold Rules, and begins with the phrase “In the name of Fairness,” which is the official slogan of the Unity government of Pangaea. 

1. ___ MPMC ICID investigator (in Yosabergh) 

Mind Crimes is an investigative unit of the Mind Police, an Unity government task force, which investigates the theoretical crime of mind swapping, for example. The IdentiChip Investigative Division (ICID), a specialized department within the MPMC, investigates, for example, IdentiChip hacking in criminal attempts to fake identities, known as identity swapping. IdentiChips are installed at embryo creation date, and many aspects of Pangaean life run through IdentiChips, for example: hours worked, hours slept, food and drink, exercise, barters, medical data, and money. 

1. ___ Reporter (photojournalist or paparazzo for The Tail Tattle, the largest tabloid journal on Pangaea)

The Mind Police of Pangaea are not to be mistaken for the Thought Police of Pangaea. The Thought Police is a loose coalition of Gild or Civilian agencies, including the Gilds for gossip/s, photojournalism, tabloids, and news. Potentially criminal activities they investigate may include body clone swapping, for example, and they often work closely with the MPMC ICID. 

News photogs and tabloid paparazzi often work on-site to conduct their body clone swapping investigations, as social streams, and movies and films, for example, cannot be trusted to display true-to-life images of potential suspects. An unofficial slogan of the Thought Police of Pangaea is thus “seeing is believing.” 

1. ___ Editor (for The Tail Tattle) 

The Tail Tattle is Pangaea’s most read tabloid journal. Its logo is of a beating red heart with the arch of the aorta protruding from it. The sight of the somewhat gruesome logo is known to inspire fear and anxiety among potential and actual body clone swappers and those trying to live fake identities.

Agents of SASA investigate incidents of uninvited or unwelcome expiration or erasure.

Selection Note: By selecting a role that is “various” or “assorted,” meaning there are multiples of this role in the Games, you may not specify which of the “various” or “assorted” you have selected to play in the Billionaires Games (BIG), however you may still select One unique reskin to customize the appearance of your chosen “various” or “assorted” role, including orange, if you wish for your selected “various” or “assorted” role to be of First Settler of Skyhaven descent. The appropriate breathing apparatus will be included in your clothing and supply pack.

1. ___ Jangmiblade (various)

The legendary enforcement arm of the Unity Supreme Crimson Court of Pangaea, founded by the Mother in the Year 49,125, is traditionally numbered 3,520 and is also originally the personal protection guard of the Mother. In modern Pangaean times, the Jangmiblade is largely ceremonial. As representatives of justice, the symbol of the Jangmiblade is two bowls of rice, each balanced on opposite ends of a beam. 

1. ___ Deputy Pangaean Marshal (various)

Deputy Pangaean Marshals are the inter-regional equivalents of the various Pangaean police services. DPMs may be tasked with the apprehension and acquisition (A&A) of billionaires who are on the lam from automatic entry into the battlefield of play in the Billionaires Games (BIG). 

1. ___ Police service officer (various)

Pangaean police services operate at the local levels, and are often functionaries of or entailed to Unity government agencies such as the UCCI, the MPMC, or The Tail Tattle, for example. 

1. ___ Partner clone (various) 

Note that “PC” refers in this case to Partner Clone. PCs on Pangaea have some humane rights, whereas body clones have none. PC’s models and makes range on the biomechanical scale. They are not physical or mental copies of their human partners. PCs co-work and co-live with their human partners. This complies with the Stronger Together Axiom of the Unity Year 4.53b-314. 

1. MMI or U1MA (various)

Note that “U1MA” is pronounced “wee-ma.” Note also that “MMI” and “U1MA” mean roughly the same thing. A “MMI” is a “multimillionaire,” and “U1MA” refers either to “above one million Unity currency” or to an Individual who possesses wealth above one million Unity (U1M). You may refer to MMIs or U1MA collectively as the “U1MA class.” In this case you are selecting to be one multimillionaire:

This transformation is called “BMI née U1MA” or simply “née U1MA.”

Responsible Individuals in a Corp/se, or RIIAC, pronounced “ree-ack,” are any individuals on board of or in ownership of or in executive employment by a Corp/se. Recall that “Corp/se” refers to a major Corporation or Company. RIIACs of a Corp/se exceeding one billion (U1B) in wealth at any given time are automatically entered into the battlefield of play in the Billionaires Games (BIG). This may also extend to stockholders in certain cases of wealth.

This role may include personal servants and executive secretaries, for example. 

1. ___ Children of MMI or U1MA or BMI (assorted) 

As in ancient Roman empire times, these Pangaean children are referred to by birth order more often than they are called by name. Note that children on Pangaea born into a legal civil union are the minors of all of the adults in that civil union. While religious union may be practiced, only civil unions are legally recognized by the Unity government of Pangaea, as religious union is beyond their purview. 

Note that children of legal civil unions are the only aspect of civil unions that are legally shared by all of the adults in that union. For example, each citizen or citizen-candidate of Pangaea has rights to government-provided (UGH) benefits unique to them and not shared. This extends to any luxury wealth they may possess above the UGH limit. No assets are shared, not even within legal civil unions, as civil unions are strictly for the purposes of caring for children, the elderly, and the potentially infirm. Therefore, civil unions are for life and may not be torn asunder by any legal means. 

The wealth of each adult in a legal civil union is accounted for separately, even if in practice the adults in a civil union actually allow access to one another’s luxury assets. The wealth assets of children are not accounted for at all in relation to the adults in their legal civil union. As with adults, the wealth assets of children are accounted for separately and individually. Unlike adults, children’s luxury assets are automatically capped at just below one billion (U1B). Multimillionaires (MMIs) find these financial loopholes particularly beneficial in terms of wealth accumulation and dispersion.

By selecting this role, you are choosing to play a NPC (a non-player character) in the Billionaires Games (BIG). 

Note regarding the clothing pack for your selected role: Citizens and citizen-candidates of Pangaea have an Axiomatic right to government-provided (UGH) uniforms. Examples of UGH uniforms include, but are not limited to: grey prisoner’s uniforms, white Battles uniforms, and violet CEO’s uniforms. UGH uniforms may be obtained through and customized by FIT, the seamstress-tailors Gild of Pangaea. When obtaining your uniform/s, working with your FIT liaison, you may customize your uniform/s with, for example, buttons or zippers, pockets or hems, however is necessary for a comfortable, functional fit. You may also customize your identity crest, which is customarily worn on the left side, where the heart is, and any additional optional identifiers you would like to personalize your UGH uniform. For performers in-stadium at the Vermette, no such personalization occurs with their uniforms, besides proper sizing, except that each has on them an assigned identity crest, to better enable the audience and others to identify them on the battlefield of play and in the other entertainments from the arena.

All uniforms on Pangaea are sex and gender-neutral, except when necessary. All uniforms follow the same basic shape: if it is the top half, then it will generally have two sleeves and a neck hole, and then whatever modifications are necessary per sex or gender. If it is the bottom half, then it will generally have two legs, and then whatever modifications are necessary per sex or gender. This includes the black training uniforms and the white battlefield of play uniforms in the Vermette Arena. While the UGH uniforms may appear demure in the stadium, especially the black uniforms, the white uniforms look spectacular in Battles, especially when the red blood flows.

Note regarding the supply pack (UGH rights) for your selected role: As a citizen or citizen-candidate of Pangaea, you hold Axiomatic rights to Unity government-hosted or provided (UGH) benefits, including food, a modular home customized to your specific needs, and medicine, for example. In exchange for these UGH benefits, citizens or citizen-candidates of Pangaea are required to contribute positively to Unity society, either via a hobby, such as sculpture or dance, or via a constructive job, for example. It is the opinion of the Unity government of Pangaea that it is better for a citizen or citizen-candidate to be occupied than to be unoccupied. 

A hobby may generate income above the UGH level and a job may provide a perk salary if so requested by an employee. Any such income above the UGH level is generally referred to as “luxury” or some other form of wealth. Those who choose to remain close to the UGH level of “wealth” are often referred to as “UGH” people and the like. Those who choose to reach for Unity wealth higher than the general UGH level are often referred to as the “U1MA class,” that is, those with wealth above one million Unity (U1M) or more.
